Our Story
Started by two students.
Built around the craft.
Doctor Asphalt began with two college students — Jake and Brad — working to pay their way through school. But early on, the work became more than a means to an end. Through hands-on experience in the asphalt industry, they developed a deep respect for the craft and a clear vision for how it should be practiced.
They believed clients deserved clarity, honesty, and work done with care — not confusion or guesswork. So they built Doctor Asphalt around a simple idea: do the work with integrity, take pride in the details, and treat every client with respect.
That purpose still guides the company today — across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and nationwide portfolios. Over 100 people now work under the Doctor Asphalt name, running parking lot reconstructions, mill & overlays, sealcoat programs, and full-portfolio maintenance contracts, almost all of it self-performed.
